1.	~OGAWA, KAZUMASA.: ~CHRYSANTHEMUMS OF JAPAN.~ Tokyo, K. Ogawa, 14 plates 
: ill. ; 40 cm. x 30 cm. No text, and no colophon. Ca. 1898. All of the 
plates are collotypes made from hand colored photographs taken by Ogawa. 
These are some of his most sensuous and original images. OCLC notes 2 
copies at HHG and in the UK at RBG. Both of these have 12 plates, only, and 
also lack a colophon. ~Wraps show a little handling, OW near Fine.~ $1350.00~

2.	~ OGAWA, KAZUMASA:~ FAMOUS CASTLES AND TEMPLES OF JAPAN ~ Yokohama, 
Etc.;  Kelly & Walsh Ltd.Folio, 26.5 x 37 cm.  35 plates. Colophon date 
Meiji 31 [1898]. Original patterned cloth tied with silk, printed paper 
label on front board, AEG. Near FINE. This copy was presented by 
J.  Kajikawa to Capt. Kingston as a Christmas and New Years 
Present[undated]. In pen on the blank before the title page. OCLC finds 2 
Locs. [OCP, UOK]. ~A lovely, flawless  copy of a rarity.~ $2150.00~

3.	~ OGAWA, KAZUMASA; MURDOCH, JAMES, AUTHOR:~ THE HAKONE DISTRICT. 
~[Yokohama, Yokohama Printing and Pub. Co.] Meiji 25, [1892] Colored map, 2 
Pp. of text, 17 plates. 42 x 30 cm. Very beautiful photographs taken and 
collotyped  by Ogawa of Hakone-machi (Japan).Plates 7, 9 and 11 are made up 
of 4 smaller images of equal size. The remaining plates occupy the whole of 
each sheet. All of the images are extraordinarily beautiful and have been 
reproduced by Ogawa with both the fullest range of grays and wonderful 
contrast. OCLC finds one location at ZCU. That copy is described exactly as 
this one. ~In original figured Ogawa wraps, silk ties, however, a piece of 
the upper outer corner of the front wrap is lacking  [about an inch in each 
direction]. OW a lovely copy. ~$1500.00 ~
