color frontispiece. Green cloth with darker green titles, and with 
pictorial design in color on upper cover, t.e.g.  Minor soil, but quite a

2.      Gillmore, Q.A. A PRACTICAL TREATISE ON COIGNET-BETON AND OTHER 
ARTIFICIAL STONE. New York: Van Nostrand, 1871. 107p, 9 folding plates, 44p 
ads. Original publisher's pebbled cloth with titles in gilt. Some minor 
wear and chipping, but a rather bright copy, one folding plate separated at 
the fold. Quite scarce (13830)   $275.00

3.      Jarry, Paul. LA GUIRLANDE DE PARIS OU MAISONS DE PLAISANCE DES 
ENVIRONS, AU XVIIe SIECLE. Paris: F. Contet, 1928. Folio. 12 pages of 
illustrated text and 36 loose plates in untitled portfolio of marbled 
boards with cloth spine and string ties. Fine. This volume includes Berny, 
Bourg-L-Reine, Cachan, Chatenay, Chatillion, Choisy-Le-Roi, Gentilly, Ivry, 
L'Hay-Les_Roses, Sceaux, Thiais, and Vitry. A second volume with an

4.      Lindeberg, H.T. DOMESTIC ARCHITECTURE OF H.T. LINDEBERG. New York: 
William Helburn, 1940. First edition, limited to 1000 copies. xvi, 319p. 
Illustrated throughout including color plates. Large 4to. Gilt-titled red 
over red cloth. Minor wear to spine ends, else bright and near fine. 
Includes photos and drawings of exteriors, interiors, floor plans, and

with wood engravings and inserted engraved plates.  Bound in one volume in 
recent gilt-titled blue-gray buckram with title page and four-page index at 
front. Continuously paged, 792p. All very clean and tight. The journal was 
reissued in 1871 in book form as "City Homes, Country Houses and Church 
Architecture: or, The American Builders Journal" (Hitchcock 1190)
