A Manual of Minor Surgery. by John H. (Hooker) Packard. Philadelphia: J.B.
Lippincott & Co., 1863 printing. Hardcover. 145 Illustrations. 7.5" tall x
5" wide x 1" thick. 288pp. Spine chipped and worn on both ends and corners
and the hinges are exposed. Small piece from title on spine repaired.
Binding tight. Previous owner's name and inscription present. Content very
lightly foxed in places, the majority of pages being very clean and
straight. The illustrations look fantastic. This book was authorized and
adopted by the surgeon-general of the United States army for the use of
surgeons in the field and general hospitals during the war.
