1.	REACH, ANGUS B.[ETHUNE], HHENRY GEORGE HINE, Illus.: THE COMIC BRADSHAW,
OR, BUBBLES FROM THE BOILER. London, D. Bogue, 1848. 64 p. : ill. ; 14
cm. This seems to be THE FIRST COMIC WORK AIMED FROM FIRST TO LAST AT THE
RAILWAY. It was meant to poke fun at railways and its small size made it
easier to read in railways cars. The prelude to the trip, with contretemps
by way of horse and carriage don't remain funny. The trip itself has comic
difficulties we all still can appreciate. It also seems to be quite rare.
