green decorated paper boards. Fine. Not paginated. Introductory text,
followed by photographs of bindings with facing descriptions. One of 450
copies. Designed by John Tomlinson. This copy signed in the colophon in
pencil by Peter Waters and his wife, calligrapher Sheila Waters. $125.

the Chapter Library of Westminster Abbey. London, Maggs Bros., 1982.
Original orange cloth lettered in gold. Fine, without printed dust jacket,
as issued. 159 pp. 71 bindings described with an accompanying full-page
plate. A few of the plates in color. Introduction by Kenneth H. Oldaker.
One of 1000 copies (not so indicated in the book). In his article on Nixon
in Grolier 2000 Anthony Hobson says of the book:. "[Nixon's] expert
knowledge attracted a notable gift, o f Kenneth H. Oldaker's small but
fastidiously selected group of bindings commemorated by Nixon in a handsome
catalogue". $60.
