(HERALDRY) LIVRE DU BLAZON Contenant une Emple Explication des Metaux et 
Couleurs avec Leurs Significations, les Huict Points de l’Ecu des Differantes 
Couronnes et Tenants Etc. Pour l’Osage des Armoiries. Paris: Vaneck. N.d. (circa 
1650). Sm. 8vo. 22 leaves of engraved plates mounted on guards (the final 3 
plates have been connected to each other to make a folding plate). Included in 
the plate count is an engraved title and 5 engraved leaves of text. The 
remaining leaves are of escutcheons and armorial devices. 19th cent. calf   (1” chip 
at head of spine) over marbled boards. Rare.     $375.00 (trade discount
