Clark Company, Limited, Toronto. 1933. Small 8vo, pp. 307. Only slight 
shelf wear; else in near fine condition in complete dust jacket showing 
only rubbing at folds & light chipping to edges: g/vg condition.

First published by Scribner's in the same year. This is the first 
Canadian edition with the Scribner's "A" on the copyright page. S. S. 
Van Dine is a pseudonym of Willard Huntington Wright. Christmas 1939 ink 
inscription on ffep (not authorial).

2.    VAN DINE, S. S./ THE DRAGON MURDER CASE/.  /A Philo Vance Story./ 
Bound in publisher's black cloth with red stamped lettering, map on 
endpapers. Copp Clark Company, Limited, Toronto. 1933. Small 8vo, pp. 
xii, 311. Corners sl. bumped, "25" in felt pen to ffep, sl. spine 
crease, eps tight, conts. clean: vg cond. in rubbed, edge-worn, else 
good dust jacket.

First published by Scribner's in 1933. This is the first Canadian 
edition, with the Scribner's "A" on the copyright page, although the 
book was printed in Canada, the dust jacket is identical to the American 
edition, and is not price-clipped.
