LEVIS, Larry. THE DOLLMAKER'S GHOST. New York: E. P.
Dutton (1981). First Edition. Issue in wraps of this winner
of the Open Competition of the National Poetry Series. An
ordinary copy but for the fine INSCRIPTION to another poet
with an ORIGINAL DRAWING by the author on the half title
page: "For Walt,/'high, blue, vaporized;/good, take off,
next.'/with admiration & in/amistad, siempre./Larry." The
inscription is dated Missoula, 1983, and the drawing shows a
building labeled "Hugo University forever" surrounded by
mountains with a plane labeled "Hannah" flying overhead.
Additionally SIGNED in full by the late author on the title
page. The spine is sunned, and the lower corner of the rear
cover has an old dampstain that slightly affects the lower
corner of the last few pages. Still Very Good $250.00
