LEVIS,  Larry.  THE DOLLMAKER'S GHOST. New York:  E.  P.
         Dutton  (1981). First Edition. Issue in wraps of this  winner
         of the  Open  Competition of the National Poetry  Series.  An
         ordinary  copy  but for the fine INSCRIPTION to another  poet
         with an  ORIGINAL  DRAWING  by the author on the  half  title
         page: "For  Walt,/'high,  blue,  vaporized;/good,  take  off,
         next.'/with  admiration  & in/amistad,  siempre./Larry."  The
         inscription  is dated Missoula, 1983, and the drawing shows a
         building  labeled  "Hugo  University forever"  surrounded  by
         mountains  with  a  plane labeled "Hannah"  flying  overhead.
         Additionally  SIGNED in full by the late author on the  title
         page. The  spine is sunned, and the lower corner of the  rear
         cover has  an  old dampstain that slightly affects the  lower
         corner of the last few pages. Still Very Good         $250.00
