Here's the deal- we have this book listed at $250, and will sell it for 
$175, a 30% discount, IF the buyer will send $25.00 to the ABAA Benevolent 
Fund, a contribution we will match.

So, you pay us $175 and send an extra $25 to the Benevolent Fund (so you 
are spending a total of $200) and we will match your contribution and send 
$25 to the Benevolent Fund ourselves.

Brown, George Mackay. IN THE MARGINS OF A SHAKESPEARE. Llandogo; The Old 
Stile Press: 1991. 1st Edition. One of 220 numbered copies, in an edition 
of 246 copies, signed by the author and artist. There is a short 
introduction followed by 39 pages of Brown's marginal comments, which 
really become random, often insightful musings, on characters in various 
Shakespeare plays. There are 12 wood-engraved headpieces and 
decorations.  Hardcover. 7"x12", 49 pages, letterpress printed on 
mould-made paper, with wood engravings by Llewellyn Thomas. Bound in 
wood-patterned boards of blue and brown. Slipcased. A fine copy. [00737]

The Bookseller's Benevolent Fund, run by the Antiquarian Bookseller's 
Association of America, is a non-profit charity fund established by the 
ABAA in 1952 to benefit any bookseller (whether an ABAA member or not -most 
are not) in time of personal need. The Fund has given out more money than 
it has taken in this year, and is at its lowest point in several years.

Standard courtesies to institutions and the trade; Postage charges
