        chromolithographs  drawn and colored from nature by  Theodore
        Jasper.  First  published in 1878, this ranks as one  of  the
        best, as  well  as one of the last,  great  color-illustrated
        ornithologies.  Covers  solid;  contents  bright  and  fresh.
