Overall, John (1590-1619). Bishop Overall's Convocation book of MDCVI 
Concerning the Government of God's Catholic Church and the Kingdoms of the 
Whole World. London, Kettiby, 1690. Complete and in very fine condition 
with wide margins and all printed marginal notes intact, 4vo, (14), 338, 
(2). Wing 0607. Bound in period embossed calf covered boards; recently 
rebacked in a lighter brown calf with a red leather and gilt title label.

Totally complete including the "Imprimatur" leaf of W Cant dated June 24, 
1689. Also includes both full sized portraits of Overall and Sancroft by R. 
White--one or both missing from the Harvard, LoC, and one of the Yale 
copies as well as the microform Union Theological Seminary copy. The Folger 
copy is lacking the G4 signature. $4,500
