xv, 140 pages, Black & White photographs. Good.
      Lots of interesting anecdotes, lore, and history, including
information on the county's military history, agriculture, coal and oil
industry, newspapers, schools, churches, etc. Numerous histories of county
families are also given, including Asher, Boggs, Brewer, Colwell (Caldwell),
Eversole, Maggard, Pennington, Sizemore, Turner, Wooton, and others.
Illustrated with many interesting historical photographs. Bound in original
charcoal grey paper covers with light grey title on front cover and spine.
Fading to spine and edges of covers, extremity rubs, a few light stains to
first and last leaves. Prior owner stamp at top edge of title page. Paper
backstrip shows a few horizontal tears, and the book has a mild mustiness
about it. Clean and sound copy of this uncommon county history.    $50.00
