[Rarebooks] FS: A collection of the author Jeremias Drexel

We offer a collection of 26 separate titles, in 29 volumes, of this important 
German Jesuit author, 1581-1638, known for his spiritual/metaphysical 
(mystical) writings. All are Latin texts. All have publication dates, 1630-1655, most 
being early reprints - typically 4 or 5 editions were published within 10 
years of a books first appearance - published in Antwerp or Cologne. All are 
small format (16mo.) and bound in cont. vellum. 13 are illustrated texts, 
including all 7 of the titles recorded in Praz's bibliography of emblem books, 
"STUDIES IN SEVENTEENTH-CENTURY IMAGERY." Also included are all 3 of the titles 
listed in Caillet's "MANUEL BIBLIOGRAPHIQUE DES SCIENCES PHYSIQUES OU OCCULTE." 
This collection represents the great majority of Drexel's separate publications.
