      A wonderful study of the migratory birds hunted in Arkansas' Grand
Prairie. Of great interest here are the detailed photographs and Bishop's
sketches analyzing the mechanics of these birds' flight. Also has chapters
on hunting, retrievers, hunting with the camera, etc. Addenda include camera
notes, and an interesting piece titled "Rudiments of Flight," by aviation
pioneer Glenn Martin. Good bibliography. HAND #Q5. Bound in brown cloth over
boards with dark brown spine and upper board lettering, gilt embossed
medallion on upper board, pictorial endpapers, tissue-guarded color
frontispiece painting by Bishop. Beautiful copy.    $125.00
