        STATUTE  OF THE INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE. Lake Success,
        NY: Dept.  of Public Information 1948. First Edition. A small
        (3" x 4-3/4")  book bound in flexible blue imitation leather.
        SIGNED  by  Roosevelt  on the front endpaper.  Roosevelt  was
        appointed    by  President  Truman   to  the  United   States
        Delegation  to  the United Nations General Assembly  in  1945
        and was  chairman  of the Human Rights Commission during  the
        drafting  of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights  which
        was adopted  by the General Assembly in December 1948.  About
