      Includes over 3,000 entries for works written by French nationals or
works in French by other nationals, works translated into French which were
originally written by non-Frenchmen, and works by American authors printed
in France or in French regardless of subject matter. In other words, the
attempt is to cover any work that potentially informed and influenced the
French perception of the original 13 British colonies and the U.S. through
1815. Includes complete bibliographic descriptions of the items. Indexed by
author/title, translator, and subject. Both volumes bound in grey cloth over
boards with black stamped spine lettering, and copper gilt lettering and
border on a black field on upper board. A couple of tiny extremity bumps,
otherwise clean and crisp.    $100.00
