BROOKS, GWENDOLYN. ANNIE ALLEN. New York: Harper & Row (1949). First 
Edition. The first book by an African-American to win the Pulitzer 
Prize. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author to an associate in 1950. 
Most signed copies of this book are dated much later. Rubbing to gilt 
on spine. Very Good, lacking the dustwrapper but with fine 
inscription.   $450
