Smith, John Christopher (1712-1795). The Tempest an Opera the Words Taken 
from Shakespear (sic)...London, I. Walash, [1756]  Complete and in fine 
condition with untrimmed edges, folio, engraved title leaf and index leaf, 
110 pages fully engraved music score with lyrics.

Purportedly written by David Garrick (who disclaimed authorship), this 
score, written by a pupil and friend of Handel, is exceptionally uncommon 
with only 5 US holdings (not including Yale) and 3 UK holdings.
