Constable and Company 1922, hb. With folding maps. Complete two volume 
set handsomely bound in publisher's red cloth. 8vo, pp. 414, 375. This 
is the third impression of the first edition. Vol. II is in the original 
publisher's dust jacket, now somewhat worn.
¶ Both volumes appear unread, as a number of pages are uncut. There is a 
tiny trace of a label on the spine of vol. I. The binding of this volume 
is also slightly stressed, as from being pressed flat when opened. 
Notwithstanding, both volumes are remarkably clean and bright, and in 
near fine condition.

edges, and the jackets a bit worn, it does not appear the books have 
been read.

& extensive appendices listing casualties, countries of birth, list of 
captures etc. etc.
¶ Boards bumped, with minor rubbing to extremities, esp. at top and 
bottom of spine. Front hinge cracked and binding split between pp. 
426/427. Joints tight and no loose pages: this is a larger, quite heavy, 
book but the binding is still intact, with flaws, as noted. The contents 
are clean and unmarked. A very scarce Canadian regimental history: 
copies now seldom seen.
