board of both volumes. Each of the two, very heavy, volumes is in near 
fine condition, with no markings, or evidence of wear. The magnifying 
glass is in its own box (usually missing) which is, in turn, in its own 
special drawer. The slipcase is a bit scuffed, but is in very good 
condition. A most handsome set, and a perfect gift.
