      Volume II of this adulatory collection of contemporaneous documents,
articles, photographs, and encyclopedia entries on the exploits of Brazil's
famous aviation pioneer, Alberto Santos-Dumont. Santos-Dumont experimented
extensively with dirigibles and aeroplanes, and claimed priority above the
Wright brothers in flight with a heavier-than-air machine. Paper covers
printed with black titles on spine and front cover. Some browning and
staining to covers, shallow chips to heel of spine, head of spine has a 2"
closed tear along upper joint. Binding is sound.    $75.00
