Frisii. 1669-1670. 4to. 2 works in 1 (as published), the second in two books. 
(8),96,(12);(8),96pp. With an added engraved title. Each of the three title 
pages have engraved vignettes. First work with 11 folding plates of 
hieroglyphics, 6 other full-page plates and additional text engravings. The second work (in 
2 parts) has engraved full-page illustrations and additional text illus. 
Cont. vellum, somewhat soiled. Some old soiling of text, but quite nice overall, 
particularly the large folding plates are very clean & attractive.

Famous study of the Egyptian artifact known as the “Mensa Isiaca,” a bronze 
table top discovered in the ruins of the Temple of Isis. The second work is 
Pignoria’s essay on the Great Mother of Gods along with another archaeological 
study.
