1) Davis, Ellis A. and Edwin H. Grobe, eds. /THE NEW ENCYCLOPEDIA OF TEXAS./ Four volume set. Dallas, Texas: Texas Development Bureau. Date not stated [ca. 1925-30]. Heavy 4to, pp. 928 + index, 931-1846 + index, 1849-2776 + index, 2779-3722 + index. Ex-library, fortunately lacking most of the usual library defects (pocket, etc.), but showing library stamps on edges and eps. Most hinges cracked (bindings remain intact), extremities scuffed. Black-and-white photographs. Bound in faux leather with blind, gilt, green and white decoration to spines and front boards.

2) Davis, Ellis Arthur, ed. /THE HISTORICAL ENCYCLOPEDIA OF TEXAS/. Two volume set. Texas: The Texas Historical Society. Date not stated [ca. 1935-40]. Heavy 4to, pp. 646 + index, 649-1231 + index. Ex-library, fortunately lacking most of the usual library defects (pocket, etc.), but showing library stamps on edges and eps. 3 of 4 hinges cracked (bindings intact), extremities scuffed. Black-and-white photographs. Decorated endpapers. Padded faux leather with blind, gilt, red, white, blue and green decoration to spines and front boards.
