We are happy to offer the following five books, from the Donald & Mary Hyde 
collection at Four Oaks Farm, as a lot:

Smith, Hal H., On the Gathering of a Library, privately printed, n.p., 
1943, 8vo, half beige buckram over blue cloth, VG.  Inscribed to Mary 
[Hyde], mentioning Donald, and signed by the author.

Bentinck-Smith, William, Building a Great Library: the Coolidge Years at 
Harvard, Harvard University Library, Cambridge, 1976, small 4to, blue 
cloth, VG.  Inscribed to Mary Hyde and signed and dated by the author

Charnwood, Lady [Dorothea Mary Benson], An Autograph Collection, London, 
Ernest Benn Ltd., 1930, 8vo, three quarter brown buckram over marbled 
cloth, VG.  From the Donald & Mary Hyde collection at Four Oaks Farm, with 
their oval book label, with a laid in letter to Mrs. Hyde from a British 
friend.

Du Bois, Henri Penne, Four Private Libraries of New York, New York, Duprat 
& Co., 1892, One of 800 copies on Holland paper from an edition of 1000 
copies.  8vo, orange patterned cloth covered boards, with chips missing 
from the fragile spine overall VG-.  From the Donald & Mary Hyde collection 
at Four Oaks Farm, with their oval book label

Carter, John, and Graham Pollard, An Enquiry into the Nature of Certain 
XIXth Century Pamphlets, London (Constable & Co. Ltd.) and New York 
(Charles Scribner's Sons), 1934, 8vo red cloth.  VG, with none of the 
frequent fading of the cloth covers.  From the Donald & Mary Hyde 
collection at Four Oaks Farm, with their oval book label
