AIRBORNE.
(S.l.): (s.n.), [1945?]. Wrappers, Quarto, [109 pages], Black & White
photographs, illustrations. Very Good.
      Very scarce unit history of this survey, mapping, and photography
company that was attached to the XVIII Corps (Airborne) in Europe during
World War II. Illustrated with numerous photographs of the men, their work
and activities, scenes they encountered, etc. Several fold-out leaves,
including one showing photos of Nazi atrocities at a concentration camp.
There is also a separate large folded sheet of photographs laid in. Also
includes a company roster with stateside addresses and a photograph of the
unit with tissue overlay identifying each individual. Bound in stiff paper
covers with edges extending beyond the textblock, resulting in wrinkling
around these edges of the covers. There are also a few short tears and rubs
to cover edges, with some chips to spine ends. Otherwise clean and sound in
binding.    $300.00
