 From the Handpress of Officina Serpentis. Woodcuts by Bruno Rollitz. 
86 from the work of Botticelli (from the codex Hamilton) in black and 
white; 100 initial letters and 7 titles in red. Number 118 of the 200 
copies of edition C (from a total of 265 copies).

The original issue of The Purgatorio (1921) was withdrawn and 
reprinted as a new issue in 1925. The Paradiso was published in 1924, 
the Inferno in 1925. Publisher's sheet tipped in at margin of free 
endpaper. An exquisite production years in the making.

Small tear to corner of first blank else a fine copy in black

sales tax or forward a tax id number. Libraries and Institutions can 
be billed. Trade allowance. Postage for Domestic orders is $6.50 for 
the first book and $2.00 for each additional volume. Books are 
normally shipped USPS Priority Mail. For international orders, 
postage is calculated individually. All books may be returned in 
original condition for any reason within two weeks with prior 
notification.
