jacket, Jacket in Mylar protector.
      Gritty working class novel of the coal mines in Alabama and the lives
of the miners and their families. Rowan presents a forceful portrayal of
labor strife based on firsthand experience. Black cloth over boards with
gilt lettering on red title blocks on spine and upper board, illustrated
endpapers. Jacket has a few edge chips, closed tears, and rubbed wrinkles. A
touch of browning to spine. A nice copy, scarce in dust jacket.    $175.00
