THE CHICAGO DAILY TRIBUNE.  CARRIER'S ADDRESS.  JANUARY 1, 
1880.  Chicago: Knight and Leonard, printers, [1880].  Quarto, 12 X 9 
inches, 4 pages, original printed self-wrappers, cover with 
typographic border and attractive oriental (Japanese?) vignettes. 
Page [2] has images of a
dining fork and a half dollar; page [3] contains the traditional 
yearly poem that mentions communists, honest working men, Grant, &c, 
much of it in a facetious vein, and with an ornamental border; page 
[4] contains a calendar for 1880. A quite attractive and well 
preserved piece, and one for which we find no other copies, (Brown 
has 2 earlier specimens, and Yale has 1878.)
