1915.  First  Edition. First issue of this best-selling collection  of
epitaphs  for an imaginary town cemetery. Ownership signature of Henry
Meigs  on the front endpaper dated July 1915, just three months  after
publication.  Occasional  pencil marks in text with the bottom  margin
of  one  page  containing  a few words in ink.  One  ad  page  roughly
opened. Still a Fine copy.                                     $600.00
