Updike, John. THREE TEXTS FROM EARLY IPSWICH. A Pageant. Printed by the
17th Century Day Committee of the town of Ipswich: 1968. "Composed by John
Updike for Performance on Seventeenth-Century Day, August 3rd, 1968".

John Updike moved to Ipswich, on Massachusetts North Shore, in the late
1960s, and lived there for 17 years. His novel "The Witches of Eastwick"
was set in the neighborhood- Salem, Ipswich, etc. Michelle Phieffer may not
exactly pop out of this pamphlet at you, but her roots are here. Buy the
pamphlet and light a candle and maybe She Will Come. No promises, but you
never know... it could happen.

Softcover. 6"x9", 15 pages. Light soil, tips barely thumbed. [05983] $75.00
