Methuen  (1957).  Reprint.  Octavo  (5-1/2" x 7-7/8")  bound  in  full
polished  blue calf with double gilt-ruled borders on both covers with
a  central  gilt-embossed  depiction of Christopher  Robin  carrying a
fishing  rod  on  the front cover, a gilt-decorated  spine  with  gilt
floral  devices,  gilt  dentelles, marbled endpapers,  and  green  and
burgundy  gilt-lettered morocco spine labels; all edges gilt; xi,  212
pages.  With twelve plates in color and text decorations by Ernest  H.
Shepard.  Small nick at top of front joint and an area of mild sunning
to top of front board. Close to Fine in a beautiful binding.   $750.00
