in  3/4 dark brown morocco with gilt-ruled borders on both covers  and
a  gilt-lettered and decorated spine with five raised bands, top  edge

bound  in  tan  morocco-backed  Cockerell marbled  paper  boards  with

a  marbled-paper  chemise and slipcase, both worn with tears.  Printed
on  quality  thin paper, there are 696 pages though it  measures  less
than  an  inch in width. Illustrated with a frontispiece  portrait  of
