Illustrated throughout, with a large title page cut (with text), 87 full page plates,
and a large device on the colophon. Additionally, every leaf (text & plates)
contains woodcut borders. Old vellum, modern morocco spine label. One section
with some old faded soiling. $2,500.00 (trade discount
allowed)
The mysteries of the Rosary explained in text and pictures. The work first
appeared in 1521 and was reprinted quickly. I have located records for 9
editions by the year 1556. All of them quite rare today. No copy of this 1536 edition
is found in OCLC or the NUC. See Essling #2123-2125. Sander #6572 & 6573.
