(6),vi,196,(1),vii,x,vipp. Index. Illus. with an engraved title with a large 
central vignette, plus numerous tinted portraits and facsimiles, each with a 
tissue guard, and 1 plate printed in color. Edition limited to 100 numbered copies, 
this one a presentation copy to “Effingham B. Morris, September 1912” from 
the Captain of the Troop. Cont. full red morocco ruled in gilt, with gilt 
decorated dentelles. T.e.g. Hinges & extremities somewhat scuffed.     $450.00

The third (and final) edition, all printed “for the Troop.” The first 
edition in 1875 was 500 copies, the second edition of 1895 was 100 copies, and our 
edition of 1909 was 100 copies, for a total printing of 700 copies.
