From our Holiday Catalogue now posted on our website
http://www.erols.com/agvent
containing 127 select items including a selection of fine bindings and Limited
Editions Club titles, and a large selection of signed books by Susan B. Anthony,
P. T. Barnum, Andrew Carnegie, Clarence Darrow, Albert Einstein, Jacqueline
Kennedy, Thomas Mann, Thomas Merton, Ronald Reagan, John Steinbeck, and more.

IRVING, John. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GARP. New York: E. P. Dutton
(1978). First Edition. National Book Award winner, made into a
successful film. INSCRIBED "For Jerry" and boldly SIGNED on the half
title page by the author, quite uncommon as such. Irving's signature,
unfortunately, like Capote's and a few others, is often forged so
what appear to be bargains are usually costly mistakes. Book has a
small sunned area at the base of the spine. Dustwrapper quite nice
with mild edgewear. Owner name and date at the top of the front free
endpaper. Near Fine in a Near Fine dustwrapper. $850.00
