(Pittsburgh): Privately Printed, (1972). First American, Quarter cloth,
Octavo, 62 pages, Black & White photographs. Fine.
      Loving tribute to the only son of General and Mrs. Ridgway. Matt Jr.
was killed while working as a canoeing guide in Canada at the age of 22.
This volume consists of a moving account of Matt's early life written by his
parents, followed by numerous oral and written tributes by others. This
scarce book was privately by Gen. Ridgway in an edition of only 200 copies
(see Mitchell, George C., "Matthew B. Ridgway," p. 202). Bound in black
cloth over boards with dark green paper sides, gilt-stamped spine and upper
board.    $75.00
