WARD,  Lynd  [TWAIN, Mark (CLEMENS,  Samuel)].  ORIGINAL
          ARTWORK  of  Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer. An ORIGINAL CHALK  AND
          INK DRAWING  on  artist's  board depicting Twain's  two  most
          beloved  characters, one digging a hole and the other leaning
          against  a tree smoking a corncob pipe: image size  11-1/2" x
          4-1/4",  overall  size 14" x 6". SIGNED by the  artist,  Lynd
          Ward, with  his  initials in the lower left corner  with  the
          number  "14"  in  the  lower right corner  and  "Mark  Twain"
          written  in an unidentified hand in ink on the rear. Possibly
          from the  book AMERICAS MARK TWAIN, which was illustrated  by
          Ward. Fine                                            $850.00
