(S.l.): (Marvadel Publishers), (1979). First printing, Full cloth, Quarto,
[vi], i-[iv], 1-[234] pages, black & white photographs, drawings,
facsimiles. Very good in a good dust jacket, Jacket in Mylar protector.
      SIGNED by Hayman on front free endpaper. The best overall history of
railroad facilities and service on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.
Well illustrated with historic photographs, many from the personal
collections of Robert J. Barkley, H. R. Hollyday, and William T. Smith and
not previously published. Lots of well researched information gathered from
primary sources. Appendices give details on locomotives used on many of the
lines, electric railways, and management of various railroad companies. Good
bibliography. PRATT, EASTERN SHORE #430a. Bound in maroon cloth over boards
with gilt-stamped spine lettering, endpaper maps. Minor bumps to lower fore
corners of boards, a bit of foxing to endpapers and textblock edges. Jacket
has a few shallow edge wrinkles, light edge wear, and some light foxing.
