of this work, “Airs de la Comedie…” consists of printed music with lyrics. 
Finely bound in gilt decorated full red morocco by Riviere & Sons. A.e.g. Housed 
in a custom red morocco over marbled boards portfolio and matching slipcase. 
On the front pastedown are two leather bookplates of the noted collectors H. V. 
Ingram and Mortimer L. Schiff.     $1,250.00 (trade discount allowed)
Regnard (1655-1709) was a playwright who was considered the near successor to 
Moliere. Though the imprint reads 1694, the book was not actually published 
until 1696. Copies of this work containing the printed music are very rare.
