Nederlantscher Spraken Ghedruckt. Antwerp: (Jan Grapheaus and sold by J. 
Gymnicus). 1541. Folio. ff.(14),567. Gothic type. With woodcut borders on title and 
first text leaf and 232 large woodcut illustrations throughout the text. A 
particularly attractive copy in cont. brown calf, with rich blind roll-stamping. 
Brass & leather fore-edge clasps. With the exlibris of J. W. Six and G. van 
Havre and with signatures of two other previous owners, De Blaez and Frederic 
Verachter.     $6,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
The very scarce first edition of Livy in Dutch, in a well preserved 
contemporary binding. Also, this is an important early Dutch illustrated book. BL Dutch 
STC p. 123. Two copies are recorded in the N.U.C. and three copies by the 
OCLC.
