"Being a collection of memoirs, anecdotes, and incidents of the city and
its inhabitants, and of the earliest settlements of the inland part of
Pennsylvania". First published in 1830 and expanded over the years; this is
a later printing of the expanded 1877 edition, labeled the "best edition"
by Howes. More than you ever wanted to know about the city all those fine
highboys and silver teapots came from.
Hardcover. 3 vols. 7"x10", xv + 609 + 633 + 524 pages; packed with b/w
illustrations and plates; bound in handsome half leather with
gilt-decorated spines; spine leather faded from black to a nice mellow
brown; slight wear, a few scuffs, etc., but a nice, handsome set. [06455]

will be billed at cost. We accept returns if we are notified within ten

terms. Massachusetts residents must add 5% state sales tax.
