          1897. First  Edition. Decorated blue cloth. Illustrated  with
          a frontispiece,  plates, and text engravings. BAL 3451.  With
          single  imprint  and no signature mark on page 161. The  last
          of Twain's  five  travel books and the most serious in  tone.
          Very light  old dampstain to bottom edge, hardly  noticeable.
          Slight rubbing to gilt on spine. Near Fine            $500.00
