      A manor house was typically a small house erected on a grant of 1,000
or more acres in the early days of the Maryland colony. The book is arranged
by county, and detailed information such as dimensions, photographs, floor
plans, and drawings of architectural details are given for specific houses.
This is the revised second edition issued by Bodine & Associates in 1982. It
is a strikingly handsome book in red cloth with gilt titles and the Maryland
shield stamped in black, silver, and gilt on upper board.    $100.00
