WORKS  OF THE BEST AUTHORS, ANTIENT AND MODERN.... Bungay:  Brightly &
Co.  1811.  First Edition. Two octavo (5-1/4" x 8-1/4") volumes  bound
in  modern  half  leather  with marbled boards  and  leather  corners.
Illustrated  with  120 hand-colored plates of bats,  whales,  monkeys,
dogs,  and  various other mammals. Most images are of  single  animals
with  several  of  a pair or three. Even darkening to the  text;  most
plates  soiled to some extent but still quite attractive. Very Good in
pleasant, Fine bindings.                                      $1500.00
