ROBINSON, Jackie. BASEBALL HAS DONE IT. Philadelphia: Lippincott
(1964). First Edition. Black major leaguers including Hank Aaron,
Frank Robinson, and Ernie Banks are interviewed by Jackie Robinson,
certainly one of the most influential men ever to swing a bat, about
their experiences in baseball. This copy is INSCRIBED by Robinson
with the sentiment "Best Wishes" and SIGNED by him. Below that
inscription in a darker ink and at a likely later date, Robinson has
INSCRIBED "To Rhea and Tony Johnson/Every good wish for a long/and
successful life/together," under which Robinson has SIGNED again. Two
superb examples of this rather scarce signature on the same page.
Bumping to bottom edge of book. Dustwrapper is moderately soiled with
small chips, mostly on the rear. Very Good in a Good dustwrapper.
