First  Edition.  Quarto, 3/4 morocco, all edges gilt.  viii, 462 pp.
Illustrated with 81 color printed  plates.
The designs were engraved & printed by Edmund Evans.  According to Ruari
McLean  in his preface to Evans's REMINISCENCES, this is "probably the
largest  single  book printed by Evans, with 81 illustrations  printed
in  nine  or ten exquisitely bright colors. It is said to be the  last
book printed by Evans on a hand press."  Minor edgewear, joints rubbed,
internally clean.                                              $450.00
