Illustrated by Mme. Madeleine Lemaire with photo-gravure full page 
plates, and smaller in text illustrations. Large quarto, Sumptuous 
custom full morocco binding, elaborately ruled and patterned in gilt, 
silk doublures and marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, bound in 
original wrappers and spine strip. Slight rubbing of edges, silk 
coming loose from "free endpapers", original wrapper with small dent 
in right margin, occasional foxing throughout, albeit a splendid
