Illustrated. Folio, teal cloth stamped and lettered in wine, endpaper 
maps. Spine a little faded, spine ends and corners slightly rubbed, 
bookplate on front flyleaf, else fine.
  One of 300 copies printed by the Plantin Press. With a choice leaf 
from the pirated Augsburg Latin Edition of 1497. Among the many 
woodcuts are baby Jesus on recto, Pontius Pilate and crucified Christ 
on verso. Leaf has 4 inch tear, repaired. With a bibliography.
