Portland, ME: L. H. Nelson Company, 1906. Wrappers, Oblong Quarto, [32
pages], Black & White photographs. Very Good.
      An uncommon souvenir book of captioned photographs depicting city and
neighborhood scenes in Baltimore. Photographs by Selby Studio. One page of
narrative at the beginning gives a brief historical overview of the city,
followed by the 31 pages of photographs. The city's architecture and public
buildings are on display here, as are the churches, monuments, city parks,
and neighborhood street scenes. Bound in lavender paper wraps over stapled
binding, with gilt-embossed lettering and illustration by W. E. Bart on
front cover. Some interior pages have occasional light brown staining.
Covers have light edge wear and a few wrinkles along spine. Front cover has
a small abrasion near fore edge and some small specks of staining to top
edge near spine. These latter not very visible except at an angle.    $50.00
