with raised bands and gilt decorations.  Edition nouvelle, reveue & 
corrigee. Graesse, v. 7, p. 17.

Nicolas Perrot d' Ablancourt (1606-64) translator and writer, was 
noted for his somewhat free but excellent style. Bookplates of 
William Blakiston-Bowes of Dunham, signed Wm. Bowes on title page.

Boards warped, loss of leather and underlying board on fore edges of 
volume I, front pastedowns torn, fore edges foxed but leaves crisp,

be billed. Trade allowance. Postage for Domestic orders is $6.50 for 
the first book and $2.00 for each additional volume. Books are 
normally shipped USPS Priority Mail. For international orders, 
postage is calculated individually. All books may be returned in 
original condition for any reason within two weeks with prior 
notification.
